As a small non-profit, we rely on the dedication of talented volunteers near and far to support autism families everywhere.
The Elliot Foundation for Autism was founded by Mrs. Aline Gisele Nsabimana in 2022. The Foundation (named after her son Elliott Ntaganda) was initiated as a response to the many needs the family faced while raising her autistic son in Rwanda.
Encompassing the family's experience and driven by the passion to inspire others , Elliot foundation plans to strengthen children and families affected by autism spectrum disorders through raising awareness and support for clinical services, education, and research. The Foundation will offer innovative, evidence-based programs for families and individuals across the life-span in six focus areas: Clinical service, Education, Caregiver skills training, global autism support network, Therapy Services and research.
Our vision is to create a society that empowers and encourage autistic children to reach their full potential.
We are committed to improve the lives of the autistic children in Rwanda, as well as family members and carers, by providing support, information, and practical advice.
